OUR STORY

Hi! I’m Meklit and yes, a cookie business owner who never wanted a cookie business.

Baking has been a passion of mine for the past 9 years. From cakes and cinnamon rolls to pavlova, tiramisu, and of course cookies, baking has always been something that brought me peace and allowed me to show love to the people around me.

Over the years, I was constantly told, “You should sell these!” But honestly, the thought of turning something I loved into a business terrified me. I worried that it would take away the joy and creativity that made me love baking in the first place.

Then, after graduating, I found myself thinking about what was next. And unexpectedly, God placed the idea of starting a cookie business on my heart. It wasn’t the path I had planned, but I chose to trust Him and take the step.

And that’s how The Sweet Spot MLX began.

We create thick, chewy cookies using quality ingredients and baking each batch with care - bringing homemade moments of joy to cookie lovers across Great Britain. At its core, The Sweet Spot MLX prioritises sharing love through something delicious.

Every cookie is baked with the same intention that first made me fall in love with baking — to bring people joy and show them love through something homemade.
